Back as an ambassador for a second year, Kenndrick "Kenn" Channer is a 30-year-old English teacher, English-Spanish interpreter, choir member, model, and activist with 6 years of experience in Hula Hooping. The first male hooper to represent Costa Rica in the United States community. He was featured in the Infinite Circles blog twice and has been sponsored by Afro Hippie Hoops since 2014. As the only Black, African-American male hooper to encourage his community of flow artists. Kenndrick joined the team of Flow Art promotion and Hula Hoop making, Hulauleando.
Being an advocate for family play and exercise for all ages and bodies beyond any mental or physical disability. He believes "the magic of hula hooping is that everyone can do it with enough practice." Kenndrick is currently working on a project of online tutorials for the Spanish-speaking community and "family recreational events" after the pandemic on weekends. Where he invites people of all ages and bodies. To learn the basics of hooping, tricks, therapy, and exercise techniques with their friends and family by providing free-to-borrow hoops and trained instructors to share the magic of Hula Hooping.
